I've rewatched this entire show back-to-back many, many times. Where The Office's brand of cringe makes me feel sorry for Dwight for being uncontrollably autistic, Always Sunny's brand of cringe makes me feel sorry for the people around The Gang -- which makes the catharsis in seeing them get their come-uppance all the better.
Be aware, though: There is a fair amount of problematic language in the earlier episodes (especially the first episode) -- all highly satirical and ultimately making fun of The Gang, but problematic nonetheless.
