Almost none of the catalogue is ours. Film, television and book records, cover art and posters come from other people, on their terms, and this page says whose and what those terms are.

Films — TMDB
This product uses the TMDB API but is not endorsed or certified by TMDB.
Film records, posters, cast and crew come from The Movie Database. TMDB has no involvement in spooled, does not endorse it, and is not responsible for anything here — including any rating, ranking or piece of writing on this site, none of which come from them.
Books — Open Library and ISBNdb
Book records come from Open Library, a project of the Internet Archive, supplemented by ISBNdb for edition details such as ISBNs, publishers and page counts. Cover images are served from Open Library’s covers service.
Neither is affiliated with spooled or endorses it. Book metadata is contributed by many hands and is frequently incomplete or wrong; where we have corrected or normalised a record, the mistake in the result is ours rather than theirs.
Cover art, posters and stills
Posters and cover images remain the property of their respective rights holders — studios, distributors and publishers. They are shown here at small size to identify the work being discussed, which we believe is fair use or fair dealing in the jurisdictions where that applies. If you hold rights in an image and want it taken down, email privacy@spooled.me and we will remove it.
Links to other services
Where-to-watch links are searches on each service’s own site. They are not a claim that a title is available there, and availability changes constantly and by country. Buy links for books point to Bookshop.org and Amazon.
We currently earn nothing from any of these links. There is no affiliate or referral arrangement in place. If that ever changes we will disclose it plainly at the point the links appear, not here in the small print.
Nothing on this site is sponsored, and no rating, ranking or recommendation is influenced by a commercial relationship. There are none to influence it.

Film, show and book titles, service names and logos belong to their owners. They appear here to identify works and services, and their use does not imply any affiliation with or endorsement by their owners.

Reviews and replies are written by members and are their opinions, not ours. We did not commission them and we do not endorse them. Authors keep every right in what they write — see Terms.
