The soundtrack in this series is absolutely mindblowingly-good and appropriate to the mood/aesthetic. There are some truly frisson-inducing moments that really immerse the viewer. Despite the final season's emotional pacing being a little fucked****** up, it was still a good season in my mind. It just didn't compare to the seasons prior, unfortunately. DEFINITELY not 'Game of Thrones'-level fumble, though.
