Blood & Aether Supernatural Horror Roleplaying

Blood & Aether is an exciting new supernatural action horror tabletop RPG, inspired by the uniquely rich stories of William Hope Hodgson. This new game aims to elevate fast-paced action horror role-playing to a new level, utilizing a set of specially developed mechanics that center terror at the heart of gameplay. Every aspect, from character creation onwards, is designed to help players and gamemasters alike create heart-pumping role-playing experiences akin to movie franchises like Hellraiser, Evil Dead, The Conjuring, Cube, and Poltergeist. The included base setting of Blood and Aether is a gloriously rich, weird, and terrifying world to explore. Players will find themselves thrust headlong into the darkness as they attempt to survive the richly laden pantheon of supernatural monsters called the Aefirii. Made up of ghosts, demons, and otherworldly creatures born from an aetheric plane known only as the Night Land, the texture and character of these adversaries attempt to set aside tired monster tropes in exchange for something new and genuinely terrifying. The setting transports players back to the age of spiritualism, a time of war, upheaval, and pandemic.
