Cloaking Fate - An Epic Fantasy Romance

Felíne Lochlan Faelstrom's path was set long before she was born, her life a thread in the Goddess's sinister design. She is more than just the daughter of the King and Queen of Asteros. She is the Prima, the Goddess's chosen female. On her twenty-fifth birthday, she will mate the Primordial Male, bear him an heir, and break the Goddess's ancient curse. The survival of the shurii race depends on her. But Felíne was born different from other shurii, and that difference threatens not only the success of her sacred mission but her very life. Kalevar Kaine, a seasoned warrior with secrets of his own, offers to rescue his friend's sister from a grim life of servitude and misery despite his initial reluctance. He's no hero, after all, nor does he aim to be one. But as Kal is unexpectedly drawn into Felíne's world, he finds himself entangled in a story far more dangerous and daunting than he ever imagined. As Felíne ventures beyond the safety of the castle walls for the first time, she uncovers harrowing truths about her parents' rule and the future that awaits her. Dark secrets and a forbidden attraction threaten to unravel everything she's been taught to believe.
