Dragons of Janaidar and Elijah, The Stolen Man: A Science Fiction Fantasy (Stolen Man Series)

Elijah was stolen from Earth, stripped of his humanity, and remade as a weapon by an ancient AI god he cannot comprehend. Now, the WuShi demands he fulfill its purpose—become the destroyer it always intended. But Elijah has other plans: he must decide whether to wield the unimaginable power he never wanted to save a world he never knew. In a far-flung corner of the galaxy, a sorceress with the power to invoke the Pillars of Thoth sings a dangerous spell—igniting a storm of azure flame around her. She seeks a savior to confront the return of beast-headed invaders from eons past. But her forbidden song has far darker consequences than she imagines. It awakens the WuShi, a hyper-sapient AI long suppressed by the Guardian Dragons of Janaidar—and its full power has the potential to unravel the universe itself. As the WuShi stirs, it begins to reshape dark energy into source energy, opening a transdimensional rift that tears a hole between worlds. On Earth, Elijah's house is torn apart by a violent vortex, through which the sorceress emerges, her magicfire flames blazing.
