First Famous Christmas: An 831 Stories Romance

Marceline has rocketed to pop stardom practically overnight. So when she retreats to her hometown for a calm Christmas, she’s loath to come face-to-face with her high-school nemesis Lucas. Unless he could become her muse? When Marceline went to Juilliard to study violin, she didn’t expect to become a star—and definitely not within 16 months of being discovered by one of the world’s biggest pop producers during a composition workshop. After a whirlwind sold-out tour, she’s looking forward to a quiet Christmas at home—and a chance to work through the creative block of her second album—but all bets are off from the moment she’s accosted by fans in the TSA line. Now, she faces her small-town return with dread. And that’s before she sees that her favorite coffeehouse—the place where she played her very first (unpaid) gigs—has gotten a Copenhagen-y makeover and a “pastry program” courtesy of its new owner: Lucas, the (reformed?) bad boy she worshipped from afar as a teenager.
