Flesh Fiction: A Collection of Erotic Short Stories

In 2025, the Not Quite Write Prize for FLESH Fiction challenged authors aged 18+ from around the world to tackle the theme: Making the unsexy irresistible. The result is FLESH FICTION, a bold, inventive and delightfully provocative anthology featuring thirty-one stories selected from the competition's most memorable entries, including the prize-winning story and a curated collection of judges' favourites. Whether you prefer slow-burn seductions, deliciously depraved delights, inanimate object romance, monster sex, or plain old human intimacy, these stories prove that desire can bloom in the most unexpected places. Funny, heartfelt, sensual, surprising and occasionally outrageous, they explore attraction, fantasy, romance, lust, vulnerability and human connection in all their strange and wonderful forms. Curated by the team behind the Not Quite Write Prize for Flash Fiction, this collection showcases emerging, published and award-winning writers pushing the boundaries of erotic storytelling.
