Funny, Not Funny: Shaking the Tree - brazen. short. memoir. (Vol 7)

The International Memoir Writers Association is thrilled to present the seventh volume of compelling true stories from our annual Memoir Showcase contest. This volume’s winning selections are inspired by the theme “Funny, Not Funny.” This engaging and entertaining volume features moments like crawling to call 911—only to realize the police are the ones breaking down your door; getting bullied at clown college; being offered two hundred camels for your hand at a Moroccan souk; and scattering your father’s ashes and discovering they’ve solidified into a brick. In the spirit of the Shaking the Tree series, this anthology goes there unapologetically. AJ Knox, Jennifer Coburn, Anastasia Zadeik, L.A.
