Ghost State (The Luke Ryder Thrillers)

When former black-ops operative Luke Ryder steps in to protect a terrified teenage girl at a rundown bus station, he thinks he’s breaking up a simple assault. The girl, Leila, is the sole surviving witness to Ghost State, a clandestine programme capable of wiping entire populations off the map. Ryder’s a drifter with a broken past and a talent for disappearing. But when he realises who is hunting the girl—his former handler, the brilliant and ruthless Matthias Voss—he knows he can’t walk away. What follows is a relentless chase through back alleys as Ryder and Leila fight to expose the truth before Ghost State launches its next operation. To save her life, and stop a conspiracy, Ryder is going to have to do this the hard way… Explosive, gripping, and impossible to put down, GHOST STATE is perfect for fans of Lee Child, David Baldacci, Gregg Hurwitz’s Orphan X, and Jack Carr’s James Reece series.
