Killers anonymous: a dark romantic thriller

"When a reporter uncovers a deadly truth, her mysterious shadow must rescue her, in this dark romance from the USA Today-bestselling author of the Corrupt Empire series. The members of Killers Anonymous have always operated by one rule: Only kill those who deserve it. So far, they've managed to carry out their avenging murder sprees without attracting unwanted attention, thereby compromising their lethal secrets. But when investigative journalist Mara Hemlock ties a string of dead victims to one of their own, it threatens the security the organization has so meticulously maintained thus far. They need to throw Mara off their scent-and fast. But while most of them are focused on simply misdirecting her search, one rogue assassin sets his violent sights on her life, determined to eliminate her before she can expose their crimes. There's just one problem: Someone else in the group has already laid claim to her . . . Damien Voss has been watching Mara for over a year, becoming increasingly obsessed with her during that time. Absolutely ruthless in his methods, he's Killers Anonymous's most dangerous executioner, upholding their sacred code above all else.
