Not only people have demons. Sometimes an entire town has them. Rumors of occult rituals and supernatural activity have been part of the community around Lake Anna in northern Maine for generations. The residents of this dying community surrounding the lake, are too occupied with survival to worry about such mundane matters. A young teen summons an entity from beyond to give him not only power and love, but revenge on a town that has wronged him. Nothing, not even dedicating his soul to the demon will dissuade him from his quest. When a young woman is found in an apparent suicide and ritualistic markings appear throughout the town, local authorities are quick to dismiss them as the actions of disturbed youth. As several townspeople succumb under mysterious circumstances, one common thread becomes evident. Each victim's body is marked by a small brand - the symbol of Meka. Rejecting her superior's directives, Detective Molly Kroll realizes her town is slowly slipping into the clutches of a deadly demonic force. She must now battle not only the demon, but its allies as well. In the struggle for the soul of the town, as well as her own, who can she trust?
