My First History: Exciting Stories of God's People

Every day and in every place, God is always at work. In every human life, God has a purpose. The stories of history reveal God’s wondrous works. These stories must be retold to the coming generation. In this engaging read-aloud history for children ages 4-6 (Level K), parents and children will journey into many times and places. My First History contains 34 stories of people that God called and used for His glory. One of the unique features of this history book is the attention it gives to the role children play in God’s story. The Lord doesn’t just use “big” people to do great things. He also calls and equips children to serve Him as well. In these stories, children will discover children just like them, and how their childhood prepared them for things they would do later in life. Each read-aloud story includes a key Scripture passage and discussion questions.
