Mystery Matters

In the heart of New York's picturesque Adirondacks lies the quaint lakeside town of Lake Mohawk, a summer resort steeped in local legend. For generations, whispers have circulated about "Mokie"—a shadowy, serpentine creature said to lurk in the inky depths of the lake. It is here that Lenora Lucas and Roan Wittier were raised, their bond forged by the magic of their youth and the mysteries of the lake. Inseparable since childhood, Lenie and Roan's love burned with an intensity to match the Adirondack summers. Yet, a mysterious rift drove them apart after college. Lenie departed for Australia, and Roan stayed in Lake Mohawk. They had always shared their respective passions—for one another and the mysteries of the world. But after a tragic breakup, neither would take the first step to reclaim the bonds of love. 10 Years later, the lazy, sunny equilibrium of the village shatters when a local student captures a startling photograph—indisputable evidence of Mokie's existence.
