Peacekeepers & Púca - A Cozy Fantasy

Constable Jen keeps the peace in North Pointe with a warrior's grit and a touch of town magic that calms violent intent. But when chaos arrives, it doesn't carry a sword-it carries a measuring tape. The sudden arrival of knee-high, gray-bearded Púca-a secretive communal species that happen to be renowned master jewelers-throws the town into an uproar. They take over the vacant menagerie shop with deafening, day-long construction, only to pause and build a cryptic new restaurant facing the trade road. When a mysterious Mountain Elf, Llewel Magcaryn, arrives claiming he is setting up the town's new eatery, Jen must navigate a crisis of magical bureaucracy: is North Pointe getting 20 shops, or 21? The entire town's prosperity hinges on which new shop fills the last Icosagon spot. As Jen battles persistent former mercenary comrades trying to lure her back to her old life, chases a magically-assisted petty thief, and struggles with a new, potent herbal tea that temporarily disables her peace-keeping gift, she is pulled in a dozen directions. With the town's magical balance hanging on the outcome, Jen must rely on her unwavering loyalty and gruff authority to manage the whimsy.
