Raven Storm A Historical Fantasy Series

authors W. Michael Gear and Kathleen O'Neal Gear continue their sweeping saga of survival and power struggles at the end of the Ice Age. In a world reshaped by the melting glaciers, the Raven People face relentless challenges as their once-abundant prey vanishes. Rain Bear, their chief, knows that every decision he makes could be the difference between life and death for his people. When his warriors raid a rival village, they discover Tsauz, a blind boy clutching a dying puppy-vulnerable yet defiant. Rain Bear quickly realizes the boy's true identity: he is the son of his fiercest enemy, Chief Cimmis of the North Wind People, and a bargaining tool to free Dzoo, the Raven People's revered seer held captive by Cimmis. But Tsauz brings troubling news: the North Wind People are abandoning their home, retreating to a new stronghold. The chance to strike a final blow against Cimmis has come. Yet there's a deadly threat-an assassin in their midst, bent on silencing the boy before Rain Bear can use him to end this cycle of bloodshed. Against a backdrop of drastic climate change, RAVEN STORM is an unforgettable story of survival, honor, and courage.
