Spirits Adopted Historical Cozy Mystery

Newborn Found on Doorstep of Wealthy San Marino Homeowner in Spirits Adopted a Cozy Historical Mystery by Alice Duncan When Harold Kincaid's quiet morning is disrupted by the sound of a baby, in a basket on his very own doorstep, his first call is to Pasadena's least enthusiastic cook, most spirited spiritualist-medium, and long-time friend, Daisy Gumm Majesty. In between battling the kitchen (where even water seems to burn) and nurturing her own bun in the oven (seven months and counting!), Daisy now has a new role: baby crisis manager. The conundrum over what to do for the infant girl grows more complex as Daisy's detective husband Sam and their friends from the Salvation Army join the fray. Unraveling the mystery of the little girl on the doorstep leads to a rollercoaster ride through family dramas, societal snafus, and the occasional cooking catastrophe. Join in as Daisy juggles her mediumship, impending motherhood, and a baffling mystery that could only happen in Pasadena. From the Publisher: The Daisy Gumm Majesty Cozy Mystery Series is a light-hearted mystery in a historical setting.
