The Broken Dead - An Epic Portal Fantasy

A magical woman in hiding unleashes deadly powers and becomes her oppressive ruler's greatest fear in the fourth installment of this progression fantasy. Having brought down all the kings of Potestia, Lillith embarks on fulfilling her avenging promise to the feline Ember. Though still grieving the death of her brother, she plans to cross the border into the Republic lands and kill every sage keeping the population under magical control. But the sages have been preparing for this, stoking fear in their subjects by prophesizing the coming of death in the form of a destructive demon queen--who looks remarkably like Lillith. To sway public opinion, Lillith decides to hide in plain sight, volunteering to fight in a gladiatorial arena while cosplaying as . . . herself. Meanwhile, the mutated victims of the Radiant Woods have escaped containment and are attacking the settlements where her friends and family still live. Manning their defenses, the common folk soon begin to feed into the sages' ambitious scheme for domination as they turn against one another. But back in the Republic, nothing is going as planned. The woman once seen as an enemy is winning the hearts of the people.
