The Haunting in the Hall: An Emerson Fox Mystery (Emerson Fox Mysteries)

Since inheriting Sharp Island, Emerson Fox has everything under control, except that the island’s water system is failing, the only one who knows how to fix it was recently found floating in the water tank, and the ghost who historically foretells doom showed up at her first Town Hall Meeting--just before she was almost killed by a falling chandelier. To solve the mystery and save the island Emmy must team up with an old enemy turned event planner, an over-the-top ghost hunting podcaster, and convince her ultra-logical detective boyfriend to follow the trail of a ghost. The second book in the Emerson Fox series pits our intrepid heroine against the Sharp Island Phantom, a fall festival of epic proportions, and of course, murder. Seeing may not be believing in this twisted mystery full of ghostly sightings, deep dark secrets, and a masquerade ball to bring down the house (or maybe the Town Hall).
