The Heart in the Forest: A Paranormal Romance Thriller

A mystery begins the book: One man and one woman, living in the same neighborhood, vanished into thin air in 2022. Their homes and belongings abandoned. No bodies were ever found. Is it really possible for two seemingly unrelated people to just disappear without a trace? And why? Still reeling from her husband's sudden death two years before, Jane thought she was coping as well as anyone...until her dog died. Alone and adrift in the aftermath, she decides that the only way to find the courage to reinvent herself is by doing something she is afraid to do--camp alone in the woods. Jane's plan is to go to the heart of the forest to restart her heart. But the forest holds a secret. A secret that, in her wildest dreams, she never expected to discover. The Heart in the Forest is a standalone paranormal romance, set in the misty, mysterious forests of the Olympic Peninsula. Says a beta reader, “It was refreshing not reading a romance about a 20-something. I also have never read a paranormal romance like this one. I didn’t know what he was until it was revealed, and was trying to guess the whole time!”
