The Judge kept my rapt attention as attorney Maureen Gould is asked to serve as a special prosecutor in a case involving Judge Rachel Newkirk and the murder of her husband. What makes this book and the entire series so real is the author's strong legal background. I felt as if I were inside character Maureen Gould's head as she makes decisions about the case.
