The King's Starkeeper: An Epic Romantic Fantasy

A deadly plot that threatens to destroy everything she’s sworn to protect. The books of Englemel Rose must be protected. For their power and secrets. For the deadly criminals trapped inside. For the magical force, called earthsong, whispering between their pages. The Skyseers of Englemel not only tend to this collection with their magic, they are also prepared to defend it with their lives. Recently promoted to the coveted role of Starkeeper, (blackmail may or may not have been involved), Phyliri must use her powerful connection to earthsong, her wits, and, of course, books, to prevent a war from breaking out between her country and the South. Ordered to escort a gruff enemy soldier across the magical forest that divides their two countries, Phyliri soon uncovers a deadly plot that puts both her land and the soldier's in terrible danger. But her mission is tangled with yearning, heartbreak, and a forbidden romance that could tear down every wall she's built around her heart.
