The Secret American A Memoir

"The Secret American" is a memoir written by Peter James, a first-generation American, world traveler, and former rocket engineer who helped the CIA on a gratis basis during the "Cold War". He "unofficially" interacted with high level Russian espionage agents, officials, scientists, and engineers, and later with Europeans to help protect U.S. national security interests. The quotes below reflect the professionalism, competence, independence, and character of "The Secret American" who wrote the memoir that you are about to read. "Speaking as an editor who has edited over 100 books on a wide range of subjects, I have never had an author who was better organized than Peter. My impression is that he is a most intelligent and principled man." - DAVID FRANKE, Senior Editor, Arlington House Publishers. "Our Center for Constructive Alternatives program brings to our campus many fine scholars, statesmen and men of distinction. Peter James stands out among this group as being quite unique, for he was immensely liked by everyone. He has unusual dedication to his principles; young people are deeply impressed with what he has to say." - DR.
