The Shadow Artist

A Paperback Original—Also Available as a Simultaneous Hardcover Edition From the New York Times bestselling author of The Goddess of Warsaw comes a suspenseful novel of art, deception, and revenge, a dual-time line story of a contemporary hired killer out to avenge the horrors of World War II. The Shadow Artist is a high-octane blend of love, war, art, and female power. A fearless graffiti artist with a secret identity—known only by the mysterious moniker with which she signs her work, Dirt Bitch—joins forces with a rogue CIA agent to hunt down an elusive female terrorist hired by a prominent neo-Nazi to settle an old score dating back to the Second World War. Their hunt unleashes a deadly and duplicitous game in which art itself becomes the ultimate weapon. A propulsive pursuit of payback and paying it forward, The Shadow Artist pits past against present and reveals how art can be manipulated into a weapon of deception both in the past and today.
