The Vanishing Tome An Urban Fantasy

Warning to fellow portal walkers: Never linger within ten feet of an active portal. They lose patience. They get hungry. And you could end up in a realm where you're at the bottom of the food chain. #HardLessons I am no one, but I have secrets I have sharpened into blades. Underestimate me, please. Be my fuel. I am more than a young woman who lives alone in a cramped studio on the third floor of a creaky house. My name is Tess. I have a job and a friend (one's better than none) and I have something else... my vengeance. I'll solve the case of the missing pages. So, send all your flying demons, vampire thralls, necromancers, skinless armies, even your dragon. Yeah, I said dragon. A hot dragon. I mean he's hot in different ways depending on which form he takes. In his human form Killian Tierney is...pure lava. Bring it on, beasts of the Netherworld. I like my odds. Well, of course I don't like my odds, but I don't stop, because the more you take, the more my vengeance grows. Beware, all who take me lightly.
