Thundering Faith - A Short Religio-Historical Fiction

In a world ruled by empire and silence, one soldier must choose between the gods of Rome and the God who speaks in the stillness. 169 A.D. The Eastern front of the Roman Empire simmers with unrest. For Centurion Lucinius Maro, commander in the feared Twelfth Legion-Legio Fulminata-loyalty has always been simple: obey Rome, crush her enemies, preserve the order of gods and men. But when a chance encounter with a secret group of Christians awakens something deeper in his soul, Lucinius finds himself torn between two masters-Caesar and Christ. As plague sweeps the land and enemies close in from within and without, Lucinius must navigate the brutal demands of Roman warfare, the growing suspicion of his superiors, and the haunting call of a kingdom not built by swords. In the heart of darkness, surrounded by betrayal, death, and political intrigue, faith becomes his only shield-and the cost of conviction may be everything. Thundering Faith is a gripping tale of courage, brotherhood, and the quiet strength of those who carry the cross behind the banner of Rome.
