trouble with thinking: a memoir in a mind field

This memoir is as irreverent as it is authentic. An ordinary poor kid rockets through an extraordinary life. GK Jurrens, a veteran novelist, shares pivotal moments from a long and productive adventure—his life—surviving each key event to shape the next. An entertaining memoir written like a novel, as one poor schmuck comes of age, achieves love, spits in the face of his mortality & comes out better for it. Follow GK’s evolution from frightened child to enlightened senior with quirky pivotal moments in between as he pushes the limits of what is possible, hopeless, useless, desirable, ethical, affordable, legal, or something else. By land, sea, and air! As a high-tech multinational business executive, GK proves a kid raised on the wrong side of the tracks from the corn fields of Minnesota can spar with heavy hitters in the inner sanctum of a global corporation.
