Unburdened: A Former Democrat Insider’s Shocking Account of Political Power, Betrayal, and Party Collapse

Once a trusted Democratic insider, Lindy Li was on the frontlines as the party's leadership squandered over a billion dollars and a winnable election. But what she revealed in the aftermath was more damning than the loss itself. Behind closed doors, high-priced consultants pocketed fortunes while orchestrating catastrophe. Staffers muzzled donors and confiscated their phones at fundraisers. Celebrities pocketed massive checks for half-hearted performances or none at all. Elites cackled all the way to their book deals and golden parachutes, leaving only scorched earth: no bench, no brains, no backbone, no brand, and no future. When Li dared to say what everyone knew but no one would admit—that Joe Biden was too old to run—she lost everything. Friends vanished. Followers fled. Doors slammed. Love betrayed. Unburdened rips back the curtain on a rotten system that rewards failure and punishes honesty. This is the devastating story of a faithful lover jilted by a machine that never truly loved her back, only what she could give. The story of a woman who chose truth over tribe—and of the party that chose itself over America.
