Until Death: An Explosive British Crime Thriller (DCI Robert Kett)

Described as ‘Fast and ferocious’ by James Patterson, the Alex Smith detective novels are dark, compulsive and utterly gripping. In the glorious heat of a Norfolk summer, the Extreme Crime Task Force is facing its biggest case yet: organising DS Kate Savage and PC Aaron Duke’s wedding. It should be a joyous escape after months of heartbreak. But the celebrations are interrupted by the discovery of a young woman, bloodied and barefoot, who claims she has just escaped from hell. What she leads DCI Kett and the team to is a nightmare beyond imagination: a house of horrors, and an act of unspeakable evil. The only thing the girl can tell them about the person who took her, is that his victims call him Mr Death. Kett and the Task Force must hunt down a killer as clever as he is ruthless, and as creative as he is sadistic. And what should be a summer of love quickly becomes the season of murder. The twentieth novel in the internationally bestselling series from multi-million selling author Alex Smith.
