Episode 1With only one runway and two terminals open, Heathrow's depleted staff are fighting to keep business going. At the helm is King of Customer Service Demi, dishing out help to all those allowed to travel, including tracking down a missing passenger.
Episode 2Flying for the last time out of Heathrow is the iconic Boeing 747, with plane spotters around the world hoping to bid it a fond farewell. Inside the terminal, it's hello to some new rather robotic members of staff.
Episode 3Christmas is approaching and there's a new kid on the block: British airline, Domestic Carrier Eastern Airways. They're excited to be joining the big names at Heathrow, but one of their busiest flights is scuppered by yet more bad news.
Episode 4Spring is about to be sprung and Heathrow is readying itself for a flurry of passengers as it's announced that holiday makers can travel to 12 new countries.
Episode 5Britain is on the cusp of holiday season and Heathrow is revving up for passengers from all over the globe. We meet a new member of the Passenger Experience Manager Team: Suki.
Episode 6Passenger numbers may be down by 77 per cent but deciphering the protocols of all 206 countries that Heathrow fly to is more complicated than navigating Spaghetti Junction in rush hour. Joel leads the charge in trying to reduce passenger stress.
Episode 7One passenger who has changed planes in a red country is adamantly refusing to comply with the quarantine rules, and it's not just human passengers who are forced to have a stopover.
Episode 8An inbound passenger has an entourage of armed officers waiting for him. As the police blue-light it to the gate, they manage to slip past Airside Rachel's inspection station.
Episode 9Although there may be fewer passengers disrupted by the visit, it's still a huge deal logistically that Heathrow will be welcoming the President of the United States.
Episode 10Well over a year into the global pandemic and Heathrow finally has something to celebrate - Terminal 3 is re-opening its doors to the public with 11 Virgin flights set to take to the skies.
Episode 11This year is Heathrow's 75th birthday and as it continues to get back on its feet the time has come to open up the last of its closed terminals - Terminal 4.
Episode 12It's the height of summer. Temperatures at Heathrow have reached a sweat-inducing 32.2C - and the planet is on course for the hottest year in history. The airport is tackling climate change head on, and for Airside Ian, that means a new motor.
