Can Bears Ski? by Raymond Antrobus, illustrated by Polly Dunbar. This story draws on the author’s own experience to show how isolating it can be for a deaf child in a hearing world. This is the first CBeebies bedtime story to be read in British Sign Language.

The show’s own verdict is on its page.
