Christmas and Winter come, in the wake of Nagisa's pregnancy, they celebrate the holidays modestly. Youhei, Kyou, Ryou, and Kotomi come visit Tomoya and Nagisa's apartment shortly after New Years to celebrate. There, Kotomi explains her extended research abroad, reminding Tomoya of the oddly familiar story in Nagisa's play. A short while after, a heavy snow storm hits the town. Nagisa unexpectedly goes into labor two weeks earlier than expected.
