ManchesterProperty expert Ann Maurice and presenter Alistair Appleton offer advice to the owner of a loft apartment in Manchester. Although it is situated in a highly desirable area, the property is full of clutter and no one is prepared to offer the £115,000 asking price.
NailsworthAnn Maurice and Alistair Appleton offer advice to the would-be sellers of a four-bedroom house in the Gloucestershire village of Nailsworth. From the outside, the property looks spectacular, but once inside it appears drab and cluttered - and the fact the family's pet rabbit uses the verandah as a lavatory does not help.
PetersfieldProperty expert Ann Maurice offers advice to the owners of a four-bedroom house in the picturesque Hampshire market town of Petersfield, who are having difficulty selling their home for the asking price of £450,000.
NorthwichCalifornian interior designer and estate agent Ann Maurice visits a five-bedroom house on the market in Northwich, Cheshire, and advises the owners on making it more attractive to would-be buyers.
CheltenhamProperty expert Ann Maurice transforms the Cheltenham bachelor pad of 29-year-old IT consultant David Clifford, replacing the garish colour scheme with something more tasteful and clearing out the dingy clutter to make way for attractive accessories including blinds, spotlights and a sofa.
CamberleyProperty expert Ann Maurice offers advice to a divorcing couple trying to sell their three-bedroom Victorian semi in Camberley, Surrey. The main problems are smelly furniture, unfinished DIY jobs and a caravan blocking the driveway, so the team gives the place a lick of paint and a clean.
QuornProperty expert Ann Maurice visits the Leicestershire village of Quorn to see a two-bedroom cottage that has been on the market for four months despite its picturesque location. Priorities include making the most of the cramped space by clearing out accumulated clutter and harmonising clashing colour schemes.
BowAnn Maurice tackles a period property in Bow, in the heart of London's East End, hoping to attract potential buyers by clearing clutter and creating an elegant dining area. Among other improvements, she ditches a navy blue bathroom suite in favour of one in stylish white to ensure the house will fetch the asking price of £300,000.
DarlingtonAnn Maurice offers advice to the owner of a three-bedroom house in the historic railway town of Darlington, Co Durham. Would-be pub landlord Paul Hooper is anxious to move on, but his uninviting property has been languishing on the market for six months.
ScraptoftAnn Maurice and Alistair Appleton visit Scraptoft in Leicester, where a five-bedroom house valued at £229,500 needs a makeover to enhance its appeal. The kitchen is transformed into the hub of family life and a lounge is converted into a dining room, while unfortunate colour clashes are toned down.
Stoke NewingtonAnn Maurice advises a basement flat owner who is unable to find a buyer for her home in Stoke Newington, north London. Sweeping out the mishmash of styles and loud colours, she introduces a calmer range of warm neutral shades, unifying the interior by laying laminate flooring and creating a separate dining area.
North ShieldsAnn Maurice clashes with Sheila, a textile designer from North Shields, Tyneside, who is reluctant to tone down the eccentric interior of her large four-bedroom Regency house. The property expert insists, however, and Sheila can only look on in dismay as vivid colours make way for inoffensive neutral shades, stencilled drawings are removed and carpets receive an industrial-strength cleaning.
