InfrarougeSeason 72012 · 34 episodesEpisodes1Episode 12The Two Faces of AuschwitzRenowned filmmaker William Karel recounts life in Auschwitz in 1944 through two recently discovered photo albums. One album was found by camp survivor Lili Jacob, which relates to the arrival of a convoy of Hungarian Jews in Auschwitz in May-June 1944. The pictures show the few hours preceding the murder of most of them in the gas chambers. The other album was recovered in 2007 and contains photographs, also from May 1944, that depict the moments of leisure that the SS officers responsible for Auschwitz enjoyed together in the vicinity of the camp. The original Auschwitz Album from Lili Jacob is now in Yad Vashem - The World Holocaust Remembrance Center and is freely able to be viewed at https://www.yadvashem.org/yv/en/exhibitions/album_auschwitz/index.asp - the film was screened at the Toronto Jewish Film Festival on Monday April 15, 2013.3Episode 34Episode 45Episode 56Episode 67Episode 78Episode 89Episode 910Episode 1011Episode 1112Episode 1213Episode 1314Episode 1415Episode 1516Episode 1617Episode 1718Episode 1819Episode 1920Episode 2021Episode 2122Episode 2223Episode 2324Episode 2425Episode 2526Episode 2627Episode 2728Episode 2829Episode 2930Episode 3031Episode 3132Episode 3233Episode 3334Episode 34Season 1Season 2Season 3Season 4Season 5Season 6Season 8Season 9Season 10Season 11Season 12Season 13Season 14Season 15Season 16Season 17Season 18Season 19
