The Nativity

What are the true facts of the first Christmas? With expert help from two biblical scholars, Dr Geza Vermes and Professor Christopher Evans , critical analysis is brought to bear on the well-loved ingredients of the familiar story: the Magi, the Shepherds, the Star, the wicked King Herod, and the Virgin Birth.

The show’s own verdict is on its page.
