CAMPING ABOVE BHUTAN'S MOST FAMOUS MONASTERY (alone at Tiger's Nest)

We figured out the only way to experience Bhutan’s famous Tiger’s Nest Monastery ALL alone, and it was SO WORTH IT. This awesome experience was organized by Breathe Bhutan, & we highly recommend them! We hiked straight up over 4,000 feet (The Bumdra Trek) to a campsite in the middle of the stunning Himalayan Mountains of Bhutan. The reason we wanted to do this overnight hike was so that we could wake up at sunrise and be the first to hike down to visit the famous Tiger’s Nest Monastery.
