A traffic accident in Madureira, a neighborhood in the North Zone of Rio de Janeiro, intertwines the paths of bus driver Ciro, transporter Soró, and the wealthy and authoritarian Bruna.

1Chapter 1Guido dismisses the employees and says goodbye to the restaurant. Bruna drinks too much, runs over Soró, and Ciro takes the blame. Ciro and Soró go to Bruna's house. Bruna and Julio get engaged.
2Chapter 2Julio feels insecure about his relationship with Bruna. Ciro and Soró go to meet Luísa and are humiliated by Bruna. Guido asks his family to keep his bankruptcy a secret.
3Chapter 3Luisa gets jobs for Ciro and Soro. Guido and his family move. Nina and Daniel think about each other. Ciro invites Soro to live with him. Bruna finds out about Ciro's new job.
