Born with a gigantic hand that has a mind of its own connected to a long arm that stretches to infinity, a middle school student named Dan Littleman is invited to a prom, but the hand wants to tag along, much to Dan's dismay. So, the hand disguises as a cheerleader to get into the prom, since cheerleaders get in free.
