But when Charlie lives off the land in an attempt to woo a new audience, he winds up branding himself with a controversial new persona, and the optics don’t sit well with either his old fans or the country world.5Merch MadnessAfter his good friend Courteney Cox instructs him on the proper ways to sell out, Charlie hires image architect Law Roach to reinvent his merch line—looking for new products to license his name to. But after being thrown into the edgy world of high art, Charlie’s left wondering where he belongs in the new age of chaos capitalism.6Some DirectionWith his One Direction reunion in jeopardy, Charlie decides to become a teacher rather than disappoint the execs at Roku and face getting fired. But this time he has some direction.
