His life changes with the arrival of Dr. Laura, a traditional doctor who is temporarily working at the Primary Healthcare Unit and aspires to become a specialist in a private hospital. Back at the Primary Healthcare Unit, Dr. Laura will seek a balance between the human and the scientific as she mediates the conflict between the unorthodox Dr. Paulo and the new manager, Cilene, who is primarily interested in productivity.
