unchosen: a horror movie litrpg

"The movie's only just begun as Riley and his team inch closer to its horrifying climax in the fifth installment of this spine-tingling LitRPG adventure. With Project Rewind's first phase over and most of the inhabitants of Carousel killed off, Riley Lawrence (the Film Buff) and his best friends, Kimberly (the Eye Candy) and Antoine (the Athlete), finally have a plan to beat the horror movie they're trapped in. But to get the end credits rolling, they'll need to keep leveling up and find a Guide and a Secret Keeper, two mystical but essential roles in Carousel's twisted game. And tracking these entities down means lying to their few remaining friends . . . Alongside the rest of their team-Dina (the Outsider), Isaac (the Comedian), and Cassie (the Psychic)-they'll face ever more dangerous plotlines, armed only with trope manipulations and meta-knowledge of the world's mechanics, to rescue the fallen players they left behind. And hunted by bloodthirsty slashers and tainted werewolves alike, they'll have to beat each one while simultaneously hiding a devastating truth: Every death they've witnessed thus far has always been part of the plan.
